School History

St  Timothy’s began in 1967 as an old timber building transported from St John’s Mitcham to an old orchard property purchased by Father Coghlan. This building was used as the Church and the school. Our school was originally staffed by the Sisters of the Holy Infant Jesus. From these humble beginnings, our school has developed excellent facilities.

Our recent additions of a new Performing Arts Centre and Contemporary Learning Centre have provided more excellent facilities for our students’ learning.
The warm caring atmosphere established in those early days makes St Timothy’s motto ‘a great place to be’ come alive.
